Antarctica, the southernmost continent and site of the South Pole, is a virtually uninhabited, ice-covered landmass. The peninsula’s isolated terrain also shelters rich wildlife, including many penguins and fascinating wildlife. Visitors to Antarctica generally must brave rough sea crossings aboard ice-strengthened vessels, but those who do are rewarded with amazing scenery and tremendous and unique wildlife. One of the most stunning places on earth, it is here that I have captured some of my most memorable images.
